I do love sci-fi and hell, ELITE style games r the shit. So EVE is just up my alley, the only problem being, it goes UP my alley all too freaking much most of the time.

Generally most of the people don't believe this is that bad as it might even be itching and it would be embarrassing to scratch it in public. Let's admit it, it doing u a favor.

HOWEVER, and as you might well know, for myself it decides to well scratch the fuck out of my alleyway leaving me with a day-long rash that nothing can touch!

So, ask you, why the hell do i keep playing this game that seats me crack down in medieval chairs textured like cheese grinders and makes me rub back and forth like a flea infested dog?

Now, call me naive but did i ever in my wildest fantasy think there would be a part two to this?

DUMB FUCK! Of course there would have to be!

Right. So the nice GMs had their fun, hahaha, and finally reimbursed my salvager BC. I was so happy tears came to my eyes! One time things go my way, oh joy, oh jubilation.

But did they? NO!

Because i went to the same system to hunt the same type of rats on the same type of anomaly at the same hour of the day...Is that tempting fate? Is it?

A case of the crabs.

Being the lucky bastard that i am, i wanted to be as protected as i could be. It made no sense to do the BC hop so i jumped right to the BS for maximum metal.

Here starts the story of the first of the maelstrom battleships in my hands. The ultra-jinxed "King Crab". At the time I thought a life of adventure and might awaited, after all, i owned a BS. I could take on the dreaded L4's.

But, lets not be so hasty, after all there is my EVE luck to account for. So I battle tested the mammoth safely in...an L2...that was pretty safe! I could do that with my eyes closed on a cruiser.

Jump in and massacre, i was happy with my new toy with a grin that stretched ear to ear until...

Connection lost fucker!

Ah of course, as expected...But its an L2 and a BS so its OK.

Network dead chummer

Well, im probably out by now anyway.

Network resumes operation exactly during downtime on the next day

So i log in after downtime and dead...Its my damn eve luck...

Didnt even bother checking on me...i could be on the brink of salvation here and this guy just reads the printout of the petition maybe while taking a dump and probably using it afterwards to wipe his ass. It took them a couple of hours to find out that i eventually reloged.
Doing so gave EVE the opportunity to inform me that i had been podded.
As i was now, officially podded the pet was a reimbursement. May the lord of pine trees grow and frown majestically and transversely inside their backsides.

Why: Dont agree with decision as it was a bug/lag related loss regardless of who attacked who. The fact that GM X considers normal game play to be a bug, that results in my instant demise and consequent space walk without a pod, disturbs me. Redirecting and delaying replies were annoying. Very impersonal and detached final verdict without any knowledge of the situation was unsatisfactory.

Meaning...I lost all my implants and yet another interceptor!!!!

Yay! My first blog entry...SUCKS!
This is dedicated to the unbelievably legendary bad luck i have in EVE-ONLINE.
So much so in fact that hey, im starting a freaking blog about it.
Some recaps of previous ocurrances will occasionally be posted but for now let me focus on today and on how i...got a...global criminal...countdown from attacking a...rat...and how concord subsequently...vaporized my...50M salvager BC...
Of course that judging from my several previous petitions this will be considered "normal gameplay"!

Why am i so calm about it? Hey, its my EVE luck, im used to it.
