The comented guide to the jinxed petitioner.


here i go again...help...petition...
"getting help is easy" BULLLLLLL!

Anyway, let me fill this out...I dont have a pod and can't go anywhere so i guess i'm kind of stuck!
muahaha! :P

...while what?...going to jita is a mission? Oh, you thought i was doing the blockade mission? Didnt even bother checking on me...i could be on the brink of salvation here and this guy just reads the printout of the petition maybe while taking a dump and probably using it afterwards to wipe his ass. Why lord did i get the GM with irritable bowel syndrome!!!

"Please clear both cache and settings folders if you are unable to load the station environment:

Exit the game and go to "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE" if you are on an english Windows 2000/XP and "%LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE" on Windows Vista. In there, you will find two subfolders named \cache and \settings. Move those folders over to a safe location outside of the EVE directory (or just rename them).

You may not be able to properly locate their parent folders as Windows is hiding them by default.

To properly locate them, either just copy the path into the explorers address bar, or go to the "tools" menu, then "folder options" in your explorer browsing window. There, please look for "view" and in "hidden files and folders", then select "show hidden files and folders". This should allow you to find the cache and settings folder. "

...er...erm...watch pretty light on screen...press button on mouse...ship go...what is LOCALAPPDATA thing??? Is tech2??? What skill need to use? Not understand!

It took them a couple of hours to find out that i eventually reloged.
Doing so gave EVE the opportunity to inform me that i had been podded.
As i was now, officially podded the pet was a reimbursement. May the lord of pine trees grow and frown majestically and transversely inside their backsides.

Players can expect being attacked by anyone at anytime anywhere in Eve, I've checked the logs and we won't interfere actions between players. Because this falls under normal game play I am unfortunately unable to reimburse in this case. I truly am sorry for your loss and do hope you will be able to recover as quickly as possible.

Why: Dont agree with decision as it was a bug/lag related loss regardless of who attacked who. The fact that GM X considers normal game play to be a bug, that results in my instant demise and consequent space walk without a pod, disturbs me. Redirecting and delaying replies were annoying. Very impersonal and detached final verdict without any knowledge of the situation was unsatisfactory.

Meaning...I lost all my implants and yet another interceptor!!!!
...its my eve luck
